Why This Matters
We believe that children NEED to hear Biblical truth, especially in today’s culture. They are bombarded with so many things on a daily basis that have the potential to impact them negatively. Bible2School is offered to children in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade because that is the age their brains start to develop morals and values and their thinking goes from concrete to abstract. In fact, kids at this age often ask big, life questions. Thanks to the national released time rulings, we can help these children learn about God’s love for them DURING their public school day!
Children Need to Hear Biblical Truth!
How pressing is the need for Biblical truth for the children of this generation? We believe there is an urgency, and here’s why…
Bible2School is Impacting Children, Their Families & Friends
Our program focuses on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders, however, Bible2School is also impacting the childrens’ families and friends. Since close to 60% of the children in our programs do not regularly attend a church, many of the children are hearing about God for the first time. This also means that these children are coming home and talking about Jesus to their parents and siblings.
According to a recent Bible2School parent survey:
- 17% of parents shared that they started attending a church because their child attends Bible2School.
- 16% of children attended because a friend invited them.
- 17% of the children came because their parents were invited by other parents to check out the program and its benefits.
We believe THIS is how we can change communities.
See Lives Changed Through Bible2School
We thrive on Godstories — little glimpses of God working through the children in our programs. Check out just a few of our favorite Godstories below.

“I’m very glad that Bible2School exists because I never would have accepted God into my life because I probably would have never heard about Him!”
A 2nd grade boy was asking deep questions about the purpose of life. His Small Group Leader asked him if there was anyone in his family that read the Bible, went to church, or talked about Jesus. He said, ”No, my brother & I are the first generation in my family who want to know about God.”
A little girl came to her Bible2School program with a notebook in hand. She wrote ferociously during the lesson. She told her leader “I want to take good notes because my Dad wants to know how to trust in God!”
After a boy gave his heart to Jesus, he shared that he had never heard of God until Bible2School. He said to his Small Group Leader, "How can you not believe when He did all of those cool miracles?!"
