Episode 118: Generosity Starts At Home
Growing up on a dairy farm, Steve Herr learned early in life how to work hard, efficiently, and reap a harvest. You’ll hear how he was raised to prioritize family, neighbors and live a lifestyle of generosity. Steve shares the intentional ways his family has loved on others, beginning with strong Biblical values in their home.
Ready to hear Steve’s advice for actively living out generosity? Let’s go!
STEVE HERR, Bible2School bus driver and volunteer, came into this world with two amazing privileges — an American citizen and Christian God-fearing parents. It took time to learn to appreciate these, but he has come to understand the meaning of both. He believes that Jesus Christ died for his sins, and the American soldier died for his freedom. When Steve was about 11 years old, he professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In so doing, he has been spared a lot of heartache in this present life and has grown in his spiritual walk through the years and looks forward to eternal life with his creator God. Steve is blessed to have a faithful wife with whom to serve the Lord. They know that the most important thing in life is a personal relationship with God and that is what drives them to build a Christian heritage and support the ministries that profess a Bible-believing perspective.
