Episode 92: Stewarding Grief Well With Our Kids, Part I
Our guest today, Donna Nicholson Stief, is coming to us with a topic not often discussed – the topic of grief. Did you know that you CAN heal from all the many layers of grief? To quote Donna, “Grief is not a problem to be solved – it’s not something that needs fixed. It’s the natural, God-given response to love and loss. It’s a journey, and we need to understand that journey and learn how to navigate it.” Unprocessed grief swings the door wide open for Satan to get a foothold – but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Donna will share her story of tragic loss and talk about why it’s so important to process and discuss it. You’ll be inspired by this conversation of love, loss, and deep joy.
Ready to lean in to the advice Donna shares on stewarding grief with your children? Let’s go!

As Christians, we are instructed to have a Biblical worldview — viewing the world through the truths found in the Bible. In this blog, we break this down even further with the analogy of sunglasses.
In a world full of busyness and distractions, it can be hard to keep our focus on God. The more you know the Bible and the more you know God, the clearer, safer and sharper your lens is to process the world. This is known as a Biblical Worldview — seeing the world through God’s holy lens, brought into focus by the Bible. This simple and fun optical illusion activity will help guide you through teaching your child how and why we need to keep our focus on God.
