Why Does God Give Us Instructions?

The Bible gives us 10 rules that God first gave to the Israelites, which are called the 10 Commandments. God gave us these instructions because He loves us! God gave us these rules in a very specific order and they have one theme in common — they instruct us how to love!

This resource outlines the 10 Commandments — in kid-friendly terms — and encourages your children to separate them into two categories. This is a great tool to have an intentional conversation with your children about how to love God and how to love others.
