Easter Egg Music Shakers

Make Some Joyful Noise

Many children do not know how to worship. So, we must teach children HOW to worship and give them the tools to cultivate a worshipful life. One way is through music! Kids tend to worship with their whole bodies — so encourage them to have fun during worship time. One way is with musical instruments, such as these Music Shakers! Remember, music and dancing is in the Bible — and it pleases God!

So, grab your leftover plastic Easter eggs and make some joyful noise with your children! An added bonus is that this craft will provide various learning opportunities such as fine motor skills, counting, auditory stimulation, and will promote creativity.

Materials Needed:

  • Leftover plastic Easter Eggs
  • Hot glue gun
  • Tape
  • Various fillers: uncooked rice, coffee beans, small pebbles, pony beads, dried pasta, marbles, craft bells, small twigs, coins, pom-poms, etc.
  • Optional: Decorative items (washi tape, stickers, ribbon, etc.)
